West Virginia Poultry Convention and Festival Comes to Moorefield, WV on July 14

One way this culture shines through is the West Virginia Poultry Convention and Festival.  Here in West Virginia, poultry and eggs are considered "top crops" responsible for thousands of jobs. In some years, the two are responsible for more than 50 percent of our state's agricultural output.  The Poultry Convention and Festival is where West Virginians get to celebrate everything "eggs-cellent" the poultry industry brings to our community!

The 75th annual festival is a week-long extravaganza celebrating West Virginia's agricultural heritage including plenty of food, prize poultry pageants, tournaments, entertainment, lunch, and two keystone events you definitely won't want to miss: A parade and a ride on the famous "Chicken Train."
